Terms of Service

Instant Royal turns photos you upload into AI-generated portraits in the style you choose. You can see a watermarked preview first, then buy a full-resolution digital file or a printed canvas, with an optional frame.

Portraits are made by artificial intelligence. Each one is unique, and the likeness, pose, clothing and background can differ from your photo and from the example images on the site. Example images show the style, not a guaranteed result.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us. No account is needed: your previews, credits and orders are linked to your browser, so if you clear your browser storage you may lose access to them. Keep your order links private, as anyone with the link can view the order.

• Only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows other people, you must have their permission, or be the parent or legal guardian of any child shown.
• Don't upload photos that are illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, or that show someone without their consent, and don't use the service to impersonate, harass or deceive anyone.
• You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to store and process them, including through our AI providers, only to create, show and deliver your portraits and to run the service.
• We may automatically check photos for suitability and may refuse or remove any photo or portrait that breaks these terms.

Each preview uses one credit. New visitors receive some free credits; more can be bought in packs. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are used up when a preview is generated, whether or not you buy the result. If a preview fails because of a technical error on our side, the credit isn't charged or is given back.

• Prices are shown in US dollars, including any discount and shipping, before you pay. We may change prices, sizes, frames and promotions at any time, but not for orders already paid.
• Payment is taken by Stripe on its secure checkout page. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds.
• Digital files become downloadable from your order page once payment is confirmed. We don't send portraits by email.
• Canvas prints are made to order and usually arrive within 7–10 business days. Delivery times are estimates; delays by carriers or customs are outside our control.
• Please check your shipping address before paying. We aren't responsible for orders sent to an address you gave us incorrectly.
• We may cancel and fully refund an order if we can't fulfil it or if it breaks these terms.

If you're not happy with your order, email hello@instantroyal.com within 30 days of delivery (or of purchase, for digital files and credit packs) with your order number. We'll make it right with a reprint or replacement, or refund you. If a canvas arrives damaged, please include a photo of the damage.

Custom videos are made by our team after you order, so there is no instant preview. If the face in your video isn't right, tell us from your order page and we'll revise it until you're satisfied, or refund you in full.

Once you've paid, you may use your portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes: print it, hang it, give it as a gift, or share it online. Reselling portraits or using them in advertising requires our written permission. Watermarked previews may not be used with the watermark removed.

We may show portraits as examples on the site or in marketing only with your permission. The site's design, text, style names and example images belong to Instant Royal.

The service is provided "as is". We don't promise that it will always be available or error-free, or that a portrait will look exactly as you expect. Colours on screen can differ slightly from printed canvas.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, IR LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Orders are governed by the terms in place when you placed them.
