Frequently asked

Instant Royal turns your photo into a personalized royal or classical portrait painting. Upload a photo, choose a style and see a watermarked AI preview of yourself in it. If you love it, order a high-resolution digital file or a canvas print delivered to your door.

There are 65 styles for men, women, couples, families, pets and children: kings and queens, emperors, knights, Vikings, pirates, Regency and Versailles nobility, Roaring Twenties glamour, Halloween and New York themes. Browse them all in the gallery and preview any style with your own photo.

Yes. Couple styles paint two people together, family styles paint the whole family, and pet styles turn your dog or cat into a royal. Upload one photo with everyone in it, looking at the camera.

Yes — a canvas of someone painted as royalty makes a personal birthday, anniversary, Father's Day or Mother's Day gift. Canvas prints arrive in 7–10 business days; a digital file is ready to download as soon as payment is confirmed.

Credits pay for AI previews. Each preview uses one credit. Every new visitor gets 3 free credits, and you can buy more packs any time from the Credits page.

Not by hand — but you can generate again. Try a different photo, or the same photo in another style. Each new attempt uses one credit, and every preview stays in My Portraits.

Previews are watermarked so the painting stays yours. Buying the digital file or a canvas gives you the clean, full-resolution version.

Your previews are saved to this browser and stay available in My Portraits so you can come back and order later. Clearing your browser storage removes the link to them, so order the ones you love.

The original photo from your camera or gallery, at least 1000 px on the shortest side (screenshots and pictures saved from social media or chat apps are usually too small). It should be sharp, with no heavy filters, the face clearly visible and looking roughly toward the camera, in soft, even daylight without strong backlight or coloured lights. One subject per photo works best for single-sitter styles.

The digital file ($59 ($23.60 with the current 60% off)) is a high-resolution, watermark-free image you can download as soon as payment is confirmed. The canvas print is hand-stretched museum-grade canvas, shipped to your door.
